To protect the beach from erosion, we are again constructing an offshore sea wall on the southwest side of the island, as shown on the attached map. This wall will be built using rock boulders and works will be mainly carried out in the lagoon. The work site will be covered with a tall fence in the beach area and marked with a buoy line in the lagoon. The Sea Wall construction project will start on 01 September 2021 and end on 15 December 2021, during which work will be carried out from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs daily.
Renovation of superior beach villas:
To enhance the quality of our accommodations, we will be doing a major renovation of the superior beach villas on the southwest side of the island. The construction site will be covered with a high fence as marked in the attached map. The "renovation" project is expected to start on 01 August 2021 and end on 15 January 2022, during which work will be carried out from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs daily.
During the renovation period, all facilities and services will be available in all outlets.
We wish to provide you with notice and advise any new clients looking to book Bandos Maldives during this period of any potential disruptions to avoid any disappointment and allow them to seek alternative dates outside of the renovation period if they feel it would impact their stay. If a new booking is received for the dates of the renovation period, it will be accepted as having been advised by the Agent's end and accepted by your client about the potential disruptions to their stay. If there are any concerns about your existing bookings, we will deal with them separately.
Guest Concessions: Because of the controlled and contained nature of the works, we will not be extending any specific concessions associated with this particular project.

To enhance the quality of our accommodations, we have successfully completed the renovation project of 16 Superior Beach Villas. The renovation work will continue on the remaining 33 Superior Beach Villas. Likewise, we also plan to conduct the renovation of our Garden Villas that are located near our pool area.
