Modernizing of select bathrooms
10 Deluxe Premiums will be furnished with new accessories, fabric and the complete color scheme will change
Flat Screen TV's will be fitted in all rooms and all Cambridge Suites will have a flat screen in both the living room and bed-room
Out Door Furniture, all rooms will have new outdoor furniture, chaises with side table, dining table and two dining chairs
Sea View Gardens will be manicured and enhance with new garden furniture and hammocks for guests usage
Pegem Beach, Pool, Morning Beach & Long Bay Beach, lounges and umbrellas on Long Bay have been upgraded and the same will be applied to the Pegem Beach and Morning Beach as these beaches will be serviced as from the 2014 summer season
Private Beach Service, the resort will be placing emphasis on providing a higher level of service on all beaches during the day
Aquarian Baths New features, the resort has replaced the old gift shop and made it into a yoga studio. Also the fitness equipment has been upgraded within this facility.
The resorts gift shop has been re -located to the main lobby
H2O Water Sports facility, the resort is working on moving this facility to where the Long Bay Beach pagoda which will result in additional services/amenities such as a place to purchase suntan lotion, sunglasses and renting new trending water toys. Introduction of the water hammocks in 2013 was a big hit this year
Partnership with Port Royal Golf Course, Cambridge Beaches will continue to have a preferred relationship with this world famous golf course offering at times complimentary golf and preferred tee times.
Introduction of new Dinner Dine Around program for Cambridge Beaches guest, we are pleased to announce that as part of the dine around program Fourways Restaurant and The Reefs Resort & Spa have partnered with the resort.
Cambridge Shuttle – the resort has purchased a 14-seater vehicle and received permission to use this shuttle for guest’s transportation to the Dockyard and Port Royal Golf Course. Further the resort can use this transport for the dine-around program. Featuring 94 cottage style rooms and suites, each with its own unique name and décor, the property is surrounded by private beaches and coves, perfect for sun-bathing, swimming and snorkeling, and offers a private marina for your pleasure.* The Cambridge Beaches Resort offers 94 guestrooms and suites in one- and two-story pink-and-white cottages scattered over a 30-acre peninsula on Bermuda's west side. Some cottages are available only as complete units. One cottage dates from the late 17th century. Others date from the early 1800s when they housed workers for the British Royal Naval Dockyard about three miles north. These still bear the names of their last residents. Some cottages began being used for guests in the 1920s, and the resort grew by buying other cottages over the decades. Now, all buildings on the peninsula are part of the resort. * All rooms, suites, and cottages are air-conditioned and also include ceiling fans as a cooling alternative. Ground-floor patios or second-floor balconies come furnished with lounge chairs and dining sets. CD player/AM-FM radios as well as televisions with U.S. cable channels and pay movies offer entertainment.
