VINCCI CAPITOL
It is the most photographed building on Madrid's Gran Vía and its image has already become one of the symbols of Gran Vía and the capital. The Carrión building, which houses the Vincci Capitol 4*, is an emblem of the most urban Madrid and an essential part of the capital's skyline.
A complete revolution in the 1930s due to its art deco style, the hotel preserves one of the few remaining rationalist patios in Madrid. Through its corridors, you can breathe history and you can see the original plans of the building, the work of Luis Martínez-Feduchi and Vicente Eced y Eced. On April 3, 2018, it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) by the Government of the
Madrid's community.
It is the only hotel that houses a movie theater in its lower part and allusions to the seventh art follow one another throughout the entire establishment. Three of its rooms are themed, inspired by this genre, the smell of popcorn from the movie theater floods the establishment from four in the afternoon and, next to the Food & Bar Capitol, it houses a projector from 1936, which has impassively survived the passage of time and was found during the remodeling of the hotel.
This 4* establishment with a privileged location (Gran Vía 41) has 143 rooms, which have air conditioning, minibar, direct dial telephone, individual safe, Wi-Fi connection and a complete set of welcome products, among other comforts typical of the chain.
Two of its rooms are located behind the popular Schweppes sign. The sign illuminates these rooms with its 104 colored neons, which remain lit at night and create a magical and cosmopolitan atmosphere that invites you to dream. The light is located 37 meters high and measures 10.65 x 9.36 meters.
The establishment has two terraces, on the 7th and 9th floors of the building, with unbeatable views of Gran Vía and Madrid de los Austrias. On the first floor, its elegant-style Food & Bar Capitol is located on the corner of the building and retains the original bar that was in the cinema at the time of its inauguration.

Es el edificio más fotografiado de la Gran Vía madrileña y su imagen se ha convertido ya en uno de los símbolos de la Gran Vía y de la capital. El edificio Carrión, que aloja en su interior a Vincci Capitol 4*, es un emblema del Madrid más urbanita y un imprescindible en el skyline de la capital.
Toda una revolución en los años 30 por su estilo art déco, el hotel conserva uno de los pocos patios racionalistas que quedan en Madrid. Es el único hotel que aloja en su parte inferior una sala de cine y las alusiones al séptimo arte se suceden a lo largo de todo el establecimiento. Tres de sus habitaciones son temáticas, inspiradas en este género, el olor a palomitas de la sala de cine inunda el establecimiento a partir de las cuatro de la tarde y, junto al Food & Bar Capitol, aloja un proyector del año 1936, que ha sobrevivido impasible al paso del tiempo y que fue encontrado durante las tareas de remodelación del hotel.
