Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities.Featuring ancient oak beams, fine fabrics and luxurious beds, rooms are full of character. They include a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower or roll-top bath and either terrace or meadow views. There is a bar and restaurant on site serving traditional pub food and a sun terrace and garden for al fresco dining. The charming village was voted 7th ‘most desirable in the country’ by Country Life Magazine. Guests can try fly-fishing on the River Coln, which is a 5-minute walk away, whilst Cirencester is a 10-minute drive away. The village of Bibury is just 5 minutes by car. The New Inn is a characterful old building with rural and historic charm. Due to the nature of our lovely building we are unable to prevent the possibility of sound travelling between rooms. We like to think that the odd creaky floorboard or quirky plumbing noise is part of the charm of staying in a historic building, but we ask you to bear in mind that silence is not guaranteed in our bedrooms. Please note that, the restaurant is open for drinks during the following times and days of the week.
